Wordpress and Blogger is among most popular blogging
platforms In world. They both have many advantages and disadvantages. Blogger
is owned by Google where as Wordpress.org is self hosted service provider. As
per a new survey, majority of Bloggers start their blogging journey with
blogspot(Blogger) and they move to
wordpress as wordpress.org provides better SEO options for the posts and pages.

Hosting - Blogger is a free application of
Google and it is hosted by Google as well where as Wordpress.org is a self
hosted. One needs to purchase hosting to save the files on the server.

steps for better security. Its really impossible to hack blogspot sites same

wordpress.org. its really hard to design blogspot sites in a premiere look. Its
not possible to get desired urls format in blogspot how ever wordpress has
several options.
Cost –
The blogspot blog is a free
application from Google so there is no cost. If you want to get customized
domain, it will cost around 10 dollars in a year. In a wordpress website, you
need to purchase domain and hosting services both. So in short, blogspot sites
are cheaper than wordpress.
